The Club overhauled and updated its governance in early 2025, following a membership consultation throughout 2024.
We are now run by members, for members, as a not-for-profit limited company.

The Flags
The Flags are the directors of the company; they are:
Commodore: Simon Cook
Vice Commodore: Michael Vodden
Rear Commodore: Mike Newcombe

The Flags are responsible for the running the Club, supported by various committees and working groups. You can read more about the role of directors here.
The General Committee

The General Committee’s purpose is to:
1) Implement the Club’s strategy by ensuring that the work of all the Committees below the Flag Officers is coordinated.
2)Provide advice to the Flag Officers

We also have a President (the Rt. Hon. Earl of Plymouth) and a Vice-President, Andrew Davison (Commodore 2024 to 2026). These roles are ceremonial.
